Wendy
Reed, MPA, President, has a Master’s Degree in Public
Administration and has worked in strategic communication and office
administration for 25 years. Mrs. Reed has long volunteered in the
community, on County Election Boards, Prime Desert Woodland Preserve
design committee, PTO, PAL, and National Recreation Trails Fund
Grant Selection Committee.

Jennifer
Matos, Ph.D., Board Chair,
is a Professor of Biology and Faculty Senate President at California
State University, Northridge. Her research focuses on population
genetics of rare species, isolated populations, and hybridization.
Dr. Matos has extensive field experience in herpetology and botany,
and recently served on the Santa Paula Planning Commission.

Ruben
Gutierrez, Chief Financial Officer,
holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from
UCLA. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, a State of
California Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and a California
Probate Referee.

Elaine
Macdonald, Board Secretary and AVTREC Chair,
has worked to preserve trails and open space in the Antelope Valley
for over 20 years. An avid equestrian, bicyclist, and trails
columnist, Mrs. Macdonald has mapped hundreds of miles of trails for
county and city plans. Mrs. Macdonald is recently retired from
the Antelope Valley Union High School District.

Gary
Moll, Esq., Director, is a
fifth-generation Californian, whose conservation motivation grew as
he watched the overdevelopment of the San Fernando Valley. Mr. Moll
has practiced general and real estate law for 28 years, and was
elected to the Agua Dulce Town Council.
